It’s probably replaced by now, but the l’il anime mascot next to the title on this page was a hack job color edit of Lumi-chan, who was drawn by Bryan o’Malley and copyrighted by… moi. Wow, that’s classy…
Fortunately, I e-mailed the site and they were real cool about it. They had no clue it was stolen, they asked a ‘friend’ to do some art for them and said friend did the naughty. It’ll be changed soon. My hat goes off to Adequate for jumping on this; check out their site, it’s an interesting quasi-commercial anime fansite and has the anime Survivor video I liked from O2k1. I’d hate for them to lose biz over this so I’ll go ahead and thumbs-up despite the incident.
And to whoever lifted my character — you are clearly no fan of mine, and I spit on your grave. (crosses arms over chest and turns back on person in ritual of Klingon dishonor)
In other news, DDR USA 2nd Mix is in the works! Konami of America has a poll going via fansite ddrfreak.com. You have to register for their message board to vote but you do get to cite which songs you want in there, with tracks from 1st mix right up to 5th mix — and which songs you DON’T want in there. Scope it, baby.
