Preliminary reports from folks who own WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It for Playstation 2 say that female create-a-wrestlers are unable to compete for any belt other than the Women’s Title. Which means I get to fight off various talentless blondes hired to be ringside eye candy any time I feel like playing Story Mode instead of locking horns with The Rock.
This sucks. What good is creating my old DJ Karma character if she can’t seek the IC belt, or the Hardcore belt, and so on? It was bad enough that in SD2 for PS1, girls weren’t involved in any backstage ambushes or other violent cut scenes. I demand equal rights! Support women’s sufferage! …or is that suffering? ^^;
But hey, I won’t complain (much). The game looks GREAT. Single player mode is eeh but the CAW rocks. And I’m excited. And I’ll be playing it in (checks watch) 2.5 hours or less. Ohboyohboyohboy. Expect me to fall off the net today and possibly tomorrow…
Jen’s doing her bug thang in LA, so we’re planning to do the arcade cabinet this December. I’m going to hit Amazon and look for those clearance sale Dreamcast games that’d be fitting for an arcade machine; I already figure Crazy Taxi, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Power Stone will work just nice for play-it-for-5-minutes type intense arcade fun. I won my eBay auction on an arcade style joystick, so we’re in the money, baby!
I’m taking Neko’s advice and not worrying about my lack of writing. I shall get to it… when I feel like getting to it. Really, when I FEEL it, because if I try to force it it’s just not gonna happen. The feeling will hit me eventually.
On a sour note, my cable went out yesterday and I missed Ric Flair’s big return on WWF RAW IS RAW. Argh! I got O-kun to tape it for me, thankfully, and Andy and I watched two eps of Black Heaven and the first three eps of Bastard!!. Black Heaven is.. kinda weird. But I’m enjoying it so far. I have a bad feeling folks are gonna blaaargh at the anime party I have planned next weekend; almost all of the stuff I ordered is strange, weird, cute, awkward, or girly. Whoops.
