I’ve got that synthy “Can you hear me running” 80’s pop song in my head and I can’t get it out. Aaargh.
So much to do, so much to do… the last 5% of any project is the hardest. I’ve gotta put the final touches on ReRolled #1 (Or PR1, as I’m calling it; gotta go with the OLD SCHOOL D&D letters and numbers module callsigns, baby). And since Chu gave me those sweet game show music tracks, I’m going to go ahead and make music for the other modules too… or try to, at least. That’ll take awhile. And there’s UE work… I have the next scene ready, I just have to WRITE it.
At least I had a break from my one track mind project obsessions with some really good online RP last night. I was still more distracted than I should have been, but it was different, and different from my norm is good.
…I wish I had something more poignant or interesting to write here. –oh, wait, I do! I’m pondering getting into anime music video creation. I have more than enough DVDs to do it despite lack of capture hardware (digital video to digital video, natch). My only question is: Is there a better way to get that 2 second clip of someone crashing through a window that you need because it’s relevant to a line in the song than to decompress the whole damn DVD to your hard drive, sucking up gigs of space? And… I guess I gotta get a copy of Premiere or something, too. ^^; Hrm. Maybe I should purposefully avoid getting into this so I don’t take on a THIRD project, but I just lurve AMVs so much… and ‘Empty Spaces / What Shall We Do Now’ by Pink Floyd is BEGGING to eb AMV’d…
In the same vein, the time/tech is ripe for me to get back into doing parody fansubs! I mean, before we had to somehow sync the sound on a subbed VHS tape to the video of a dubbed VHS tape, and it was a pain in the ass… now I just decode a DVD proper-like, and slap subs on it. Right? What’s involved here? Or is it too damn complicated for me to consider taking on a lark?
