I tidied up around my Vast Media Center Room a bit — putting away DVDs I’ve watched already or games I’m probably not going to play for awhile.
I’ve got a pretty nasty backlog brewing of movies to watch…
Trainspotting, Heavenly Creatures, and Nightmare Before Christmas are all on the Tivo. Fortunately, the 80-hour hard disk is proving to be handy; it’s never filled up once and I have plenty, PLENTY of room for anything I need to store on it.
In anime, I have the Mihoshi Special/Pretty Sammy DVD that lostboydv got me for Xmasu. I’ve got the last volume of Hellsing which I’ve shyed away from because I hear it sucks. Likewise for Excel Saga v4, and v5 just came in today.
Moviewise I’ve got Fear & Loathing Criterion Edition. I watched all the sups and the film with director’s commentary on but I wanted to watch with Hunter’s commentary on, too. I also got the Pulp Fiction Collector’s Ed and am plowing through the sups.
Then in gaming, I’ve got .hack Infection to fiddle with, and soon I’ll be getting Amplitude and Kung Fu Chaos — but those are action games, which don’t need to be ‘cleared’ in a time consuming way, just played now and then.
Finally there’s Gundam Wing, which I’m slowly grinding through with Andy and Jen, even if it’s a painful experience for them both. We just got to the part when the bishies go back to space; then they’ll come back to earth then go into space again, if I recall. Whee!
I know I said I wouldn’t whine about not having enough time, but damn, man. @_@;
UPDATE: I went against my boycott of the RIAA and bought Audioslave’s album. I feel dirty.
Not just because I bought it, but because it ROCKS. I mean, when I got System of a Down’s Toxicity and found out it was all speed metal instead of the soaring ballads that were on the radio, I could at least be content in my everlasting rage at the RIAA for giving me crap. But this? This rocks! It’s like two of my favorite bands rammed together into one gnarly, badass combination. Soundgarden + Rage Against The Machine = R0XX0RZ.
Am I going to hell now for supporting the uncreative corporate crushing machine known as the RIAA?
