A double post day.
I’ve been offered a preview build of Shadows of Urentide, seven days before it hits the stores. Very nice. And, I guess that means it’s time to plan my next module. …technically FoD is my next module, but I always said I’d do a serious module, Elegia Eternum style (but without the multimedia bells ‘n whistles) when SoU hit.
Way my creative projects are looking is like this:
Fist of Discomfort: Taking my own sweet time to work on this. Plan a little here, build a little there, wrangle the actors. It’s not a time drain because I’m determined not to go so gonzo on this that it consumes my life just so I can get it out the door fast.
Unreal Estate: Planning on doing some work on the next chapter while I’m at the beach. The atmosphere should be nice for writing, since I’ll have no toolset access and plenty of free time. The series will be completed, slowly but surely.
The SoU Mod: I’m way into preproduction here but since I’m not doing voice acting or custom music or portraits I can develop at my own pace and keep things simple.
My goal is to not have my creative projects grind me into a wad of exhausted flesh, but rather to work on whatever one I feel like working on at any time and try to avoid feeling pressured. We’ll see if I’m successful at this or if I collapse into the usual trembling wad of self-induced guilt.
