With this, we bid farewell to sf01 — setting the table for events to come. Our heroes are not exactly in a position of power, this time around… much as they were back when they started out, as complete unknowns investigating something they weren’t supposed to be investigating. Well, actually, now they’re even more behind the eight ball, what with the circumstances involved.
I had three updates ahead of schedule and I’ve now used up all three. Also, I did a 130k+ story in two weeks — too rapid fire for a lot of you to finish reading and commenting on, I suspect. I think that’s grounds for taking a break to do the editorial work I never actually did last time I took a break. I do have sf02 generally outlined, so it won’t be a particularly long break, though. And maybe we’ll be closer to a proper London’s Fog book when I’m done. I would like to get that out the door before Stars Fall finishes, since its bonus chapter may be relevant to your interests.
For now, I welcome your feedback teapot and reactions.
