Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
Short post because I’m busy shooting rebel scum in the Old Republic tonight. Enjoy London’s salvation and see you here on the 19th for the battle of New Orleans. And Christmas Eve, it’s the earth shattering grand finale.

For reference, this is the moment I was referencing in my mind when I decided “They’re just gonna be too wowed by the return of the king to even be able to fight back.”

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. I was expecting Epic Sword Battle, and what we got is completely different and absolutely beautiful.

I’m glad to hear it worked. I was really worried if this one would go over well; sort of a “Will they buy that this had some amazing psychological effect that let Edward just WALK the bomb in and force the Ascendancy to surrender?” fear. That disbelief couldn’t be suspended. I guess we’re good to go.

I think the real challenge is not even so much suspending _our_ sense of disbelief, but rather the Ascendancy people’s. To them the return of the King has little or no symbolic meaning, so Edward, sword, angel, and happenstance of the dawn all hitting at once must be that much more powerful to faze them.
Oh and as for the video link below — nice mood to go for, right there. Good choice.

It also helps that Wqp was established as being generally more ethical than your average Ascendancy Proctor.

That was awesome! And with not a swing of the Sword. Very cool

Peter Tuttle threw the flag on his meter and started the seven hour trek to London
Hyphenate.
Without that exact combination of events, the plan wouldn’t have worked.
This is something I’m picturing in my mind’s eye, and it is awesome.
Looking forward to starting Monday with New Orleans!
