Oh boy oh boy. Floating Point, my new cyberpunk web novel serial, starts this Thursday at midnight. This handy countdown clock should help you figure out exactly what that means in your time zone. In light of this… let’s recap what’s new and exciting ’round these parts.
- There’s a two-scene preview of Floating Point available, for folks who just can’t wait.
- You can get early access by supporting my Patreon. If you can’t afford to, that’s fine, you’ll still get the content free!
- I’ve also announced that Floating Point will likely be a trilogy of books. Because me and trilogies are kind of a thing.
- We’ve won NaNoWriMo. I have about seven weeks of content ready to go, represented by 50,000 words and 2.1 chapters.
- My approach to mature content in the new series was discussed.
- I’ve made a bunch of silly avatars for kicks. I’ll be posting new ones daily up to the launch.
- If you’d like to submit fanart for Floating Point, I’d be thrilled! Just drop me an email. Characters are open to interpretation, outside of a few key meaningful color choices or clothing items.
- Finally, you still have a few days left to participate in Desert Bust for Hope, an amazing week-long comedy charity telethon supporting Child’s Play.
Does that cover it? I think that covers it. More to come this Thursday, when the madness begins.
