Reality Engineer Certification (REC) Test

Before you can claim to be a certified Reality Engineer, you must pass the test.

The test is evil. The test is sinister. The test is really, really hard, requiring near genius levels of comprehension in math and computer programming. Typically only 25% of all applicants manage to pass the test, and most of them take preparation exams and classes that train you to know what sorts of questions will be asked and how to answer them.

As a result, most REs are wholly unprepared for dealing with actual Reality Engine problems in the field like the dreaded Blue Sky of Death. When you need troubleshooting, your best bet is to call RealWare, but a REC certified engineer will sometimes do in a pinch.
