Angst Boy

A comic (and later, a holo-comic, although that made the title quite expensive to produce) featuring a guy who's angsty, violent, angsty, violent and violent. And angsty. The title fades in and out of popularity, usually getting a spike of interest whenever a new generation is exposed to it and sold on the concept that its internal emotional thrashing will annoy their parents.
