It’s a few days late, but here’s your xmas present! It’s… the start of //016, in which a bunch of bleak and awful things are happening at once and the doom of the entire City of Angles is nigh, soon to drown in blood and sorrow. So, yay?
This is the capstone of everything I’ve been building up in vol//002. …well, ALMOST everything. Some things are meant to pay off in vol//003. I’d like to think I haven’t tipped my hand TOO early on that, but if anybody’s already guessed what vol//003 will be all about, they deserve a lollipop. Best I can offer is “think to the stuff in this volume which doesn’t tie into the Ellie/Jack situation, and also is damned mysterious.”
Odds are once //016 is done, I’ll need to take a month off to work on the print book and to prepare for vol//003. (In hindsight I should’ve come up with a system that didn’t use so many // numbers for chapters AND volumes.) But for now, dive in to the deep end and relax.

Just picked up all of Anachronauts on Kindle, looking forward to diving into CoA but want more books before I take the plunge – I read quickly, and don’t often remember to check back on web updates, so end up losing the thread of the story and giving up all together. ^_^
Anyway, really enjoying everything I’ve read thus far – you’ve come a long way since “Unreal Estate,” and you were doing pretty darned well back then! Keep it up!

I’m going to be releasing a print and Kindle version of Unreal Estate in 2014; just waiting on the cover art and final compilation of the book! It’ll be identical to the web version, but in handy physical / ebook form.
